I believe it was a blue chromis, they hang with a school of fish of their kind...

The CF looked a lot like the Pakula Clownfish

Thanks!!

I would lower the temp to 80.

Blue chromis was he the only one? They are not known jumpers but do much better in a group.

The clown not sure what happened there. What are all the tank mates? Do you have a fish that may be a bully?

I have a Coral Beauty, Brownbarred Goby, Bluchin Trigger fish, Powder Brown Surgeonfish and 4 blue chromis (had 6)

How do i control the heat to stay at 80 ? when my lights go on they produce heat, that makes the tank go up and down temp!!

You can invest in a chiller or a fan near the surface of the water.

Tell us how..

Also, be aware that many hobbyist, myself included have either open tops or use egg crate instead of the glass.
I wish my fish and critters would read the same posts I do..

Ok, so that didn't work, and basically was making matters worse, I was cooking the fish.. the temperature was increasing and also I read online that it creates Carbon gazes in the tank and the fish could die...

What are Egg Crates??

Thanks

Hey hey,

So I got me some of those egg crates, aka light fixtures... lol

Ok so I got some zoonthanodes, but the problem I'm having is that they are not sticking to their rock piece I got them from, and then I find them a new place, there drifting away.....

What should I do,

Thanks

Most likely they are not liking something in the tank like the parameters, water flow, light or other critters . First would check parameters and go from there. Water flow can be an issue to. Placement near other corals too can cause them to move. What type are they and what other corals do you have in the tank? What you can do and have seen this is put them in a container with some rubble and see if they will reattach themselves. Something else could be crabs or something that may be disturbing them causing them to break loose.
